Isaac's Cats (and more)...
It is currently fall 2018. Isaac is in his second year of college. He has taken a couple photography classes so far, and plans to take another one later this year. Both classes involved using old manual cameras that required either 35 mm film or 110, which he developed and printed himself in a darkroom on campus. At some point, I plan to add some of his film work to this page.
During the fall of 2013, Isaac took a photography class at school. He was asked to select a theme and shoot 20+ photographs along the theme. Of course he chose the topic of cats. Here are some of the hundreds of photos he snapped during the weekend of October 19-20th. All the cat photos show below were shot using a Nikon D300 with a Nikon 200mm Micro lens, and a Gitzo tripod with a Really Right Stuff Ball Head. All lighting was "natural," either diffused sunlight from the window or regular incandescent bulbs. Colors were adjusted to remove the red/yellow hue from indoor lights--but without sacrificing the orange tabby color!

Isaac's August 2013 trip to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan...
Isaac spent a week in the upper peninsula of Michigan, attending a Rod Planck Photography workshop. He spent most of his time at Seney National Wildlife Refuge. This page shows just a few of the shots he got during the trip. For additional information about Isaac's photography and artwork, check his web page: http://www.isaacwolfe.org/index.php/art1/.
